Speaking and Training
For nearly three years, I have spoken and provided training on sexual assault for local law enforcement, first responders, and community agencies. These sessions deepen understanding of sexual violence and strengthen how professionals and community partners respond to and support survivors.
I have now begun training at the local, state, and national levels on how religious narratives have been used, and continue to be used, to perpetuate sexual violence, silence survivors, and protect perpetrators. Grounded in my Moral Lens Framework for the Perpetuation of Sexual Violence, this work helps participants examine the beliefs and systems that sustain harm and consider more survivor-centered responses.
Speaking Engagements
Upcoming Speaking Engagements
Alabama Coalition Against Rape (ACAR) November 20, 2026 - Montgomery, AL - The Moral Lens Framework for the Perpetuation of Sexual Violence explores how sacred stories, gender expectations, moral judgments, pressure to stay silent, and systems that protect perpetrators can work together to normalize sexual violence and shape how survivors are treated.
Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC) July 28, 2027 - Dallas, TX - This training introduces a practical harm response protocol for sexual violence in church and faith-based communities. Instead of centering questions of purity, sin, forgiveness, or reputation, the protocol centers the harm, the safety and choices of the person harmed, and meaningful accountability.
